Reservation Policies – Costa Rica Tours

Reservations and Full Payment

  • All reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.

  • To confirm any tour, full payment (100%) of the total reservation amount is mandatory.

  • Partial payments, pending balances, or payments on the day of the tour are not accepted.

  • Payments must be made only through the authorized payment methods provided by Costa Rica Tours.

  • Once full payment is received, an official written confirmation with all tour details will be sent.


Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made with 30 days or less prior notice to the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid.

  • Cancellations made with 15 days or less prior notice to the tour date are non-refundable (0% refund).

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through Costa Rica Tours’ official communication channels.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe and may be subject to administrative or banking fees.


No Show Policy

  • If the client does not show up at the designated meeting point on the scheduled date and time, no refund will be issued.

  • Late arrivals that prevent participation in the tour will be considered a no show.


Reservation Changes

  • Requests to change the tour date or service are subject to availability and must be made in advance.

  • Costa Rica Tours reserves the right to apply additional charges if the requested change generates extra operational or logistical costs.


Weather and Operational Conditions

  • Tours operate under normal weather conditions; rain is not considered a valid reason for cancellation.

  • In the event of extreme weather conditions, force majeure, or operational circumstances beyond our control, Costa Rica Tours reserves the right to reschedule the tour or issue a credit, as applicable.

  • Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as animals live in their natural habitat.


Client Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for following the guide’s instructions and complying with all safety regulations.

  • Clients must inform Costa Rica Tours in advance of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or dietary restrictions.

  • Costa Rica Tours is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or damaged personal belongings during the tour.


Acceptance of Policies

  • By making full payment and confirming a reservation with Costa Rica Tours, the client automatically agrees to all Reservation Policies, Cancellation Policies, and General Conditions outlined above.
